How your purchase becomes a donation

Stores pay us a commission for every customer we send them. Usually a percentage of your purchase, sometimes a fixed amount, for example for insurance or a phone plan.

Example

You buy shoes for $100. The store donates 6%, so $6 goes to your cause.

Do I pay more through ShopDonation?
No. You pay exactly the same as when you go to the store directly.
Why do stores pay for the donation?
Stores reward us for every customer we send them. We pass that commission on as a donation to your cause. It comes from their marketing budget and they only pay after a purchase.
Can I even save money?
Yes. We arrange exclusive deals and discount codes with stores, so sometimes you pay less than going to the store directly.
Do I keep my loyalty points?
Yes, you earn the same points as usual.
Do you share my data with others?
No. We never share your data with stores, and not even with the cause you support.
How do I know it really works?
You and your cause can see every donation, including when it was paid out. Try it: after a purchase you get a confirmation.

Hundreds, including Booking, Expedia, AliExpress and Samsung. You'll find them all in the store overview.
How much can a cause raise?
A regular shopper raises around $5 a month, a business $100 to $500 a month. Our top shoppers have raised over $2,000 for their cause.
I know a cause that wants to join. What now?
The cause can register for free on our website. There are no costs.
What if I see a store I don't want to support?
Causes can switch off any store. Ask the cause you support; after that, the store no longer shows for that cause.
